Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)

Paul House & Health Care Center – Chicago, IL

Paul House & Health Care Center is seeking compassionate and dependable Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) to join our nursing team. Our CNAs play an essential role in providing quality, resident-centered care and assisting residents with their daily needs while maintaining their comfort, safety, dignity, and independence.

Full-time and part-time opportunities are available across AM and PM shifts.

• Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, mobility, and meals

• Provide personal care in a respectful and dignified manner

• Answer call lights and respond promptly to resident needs

• Assist residents with transfers, repositioning, and mobility

• Take and document vital signs and other resident information as assigned

• Observe residents and promptly report changes in condition to the nurse

• Assist with restorative and rehabilitative care as directed

• Maintain clean, safe, and comfortable resident care areas

• Maintain resident privacy, dignity, safety, and confidentiality

• Complete required documentation accurately and timely

• Communicate effectively with residents, families, nursing staff, and other members of the care team

• Follow facility policies, infection-control practices, and resident-care procedures

• Perform additional resident-care duties as assigned

• Current and valid Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in the State of Illinois

• CPR certification or willingness to obtain as required

• Compassionate, dependable, and professional approach to resident care

• Strong communication and teamwork skills

• Ability to work effectively in a long-term care environment

• Ability to meet the physical requirements of the position, including assisting with resident mobility and transfers

• Must meet applicable health and background requirements

Available 12-hour shifts include:

• AM: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM

• PM: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM

• Full-time and part-time opportunities available

• Weekend availability may be required
