You will be entrusted with a diverse and challenging caseload, assuming significant responsibilities from the outset.Key Responsibilities:Handle all aspects of commercial litigation, including foreclosures, case strategy, discovery, motion practice, depositions, and trial preparation.Draft and argue motions, pleadings, and legal briefs.Conduct legal research and analysis on complex commercial disputes.Represent clients in court hearings, mediations, and arbitrations.Advise clients on risk assessment and litigation strategies.Assist with negotiating and drafting agreements to resolve distressed loan products.Collaborate with colleagues on a wide variety of commercial matters, including real estate, auto, and specialty finance, when applicable.Position Requirements:Must be admitted to the Illinois and be in good standingThe ideal candidate will have 3+ years of experience in commercial litigation, with additional experience in consumer financial services litigation and/or commercial litigation considered a plus.Strong legal writing, research, and oral advocacy skillsAbility to manage multiple cases and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.Excellent negotiation and problem-solving skills.This is an excellent opportunity to join a tight-knit group offering a high level of responsibility in an exciting and growing practice area.We value work-life balance and offer hybrid work arrangements, allowing you to work from both the office and remotely.Only candidates contacted for an interview will receive a response.
