As a member of our growing team, you will help design and develop technology solutions that are scalable, meaningful, and critical to our company's success. The ideal candidate will have a strong Linux background and driven to pursue a career in enterprise application development. You will be working in an Agile environment, and contributing with your ideas, code, testing, and planning skills.Location: Hybrid – Salt Lake City, UtahKey ResponsibilitiesWorking collaboratively with team members to design, develop, test, troubleshoot, and deliver a scalable Linux-based container platformRemaining up to date on current best practices, trends, and industry developments and actively sharing that knowledge with other team membersVerifying product features are thoroughly implemented, ensuring all requirements are met, using robust technical solutions and high-quality coding standardsKey Experience and Education Qualifications:BS Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Security or equivalent work experienceStrong problem solving, troubleshooting, communication and customer service skillsStrong time management skills and able to take initiative and work independently on concurrent projects4+ years of professional experience using container technologies to build, deploy, maintain, or administer containers in a production environment3+ years of professional experience building, maintain, or administering Kubernetes clusters in a production environment5+ years of professional experience administering and/or developing applications on Red Hat Enterprise Linux. This includes:Demonstrable coding/scripting experience in Bash.A solid understanding and experience using the Linux command line and its associated tools and utilities.A solid understanding of fundamental networking concepts.Experience with server virtualization systems such as VMware ESXi/vSphere.Experience with Ansible and familiarity with YAML and JSON.Experience deploying applications to AWS and/or Azure in a production environment (compute, storage, networking, image creation, etc.)If needed, ability to pass a government background checkNice to HaveExperience with installation, administration, and configuration of Prometheus and Grafana.Knowledgeable in Linux and application security best practices, SELinux, DISA STIG, etc.Experience with UI frameworks and technologies (HTML, JavaScript, REST APIs, React)Experience with CI/CD and configuration management tools (Jenkins, Ansible, Artifactory)Experience writing automated testsExperience using Git for version controlExperience working in an Agile/Scrum environmentExperience with Python and GolangA reasonable estimate of the base salary range for this role is:$125,100.00-164,000.00 USDThe actual salary offered may vary within the range based on a candidates' unique experience, locale, and business needs.
