Relationship Banker

Acquire, manage, and grow a portfolio of consumer and business customer relationships Lead discovery-driven conversations to understand customer goals and deliver tailored banking and credit strategies Drive balanced growth across deposits, lending, and investments Coordinate warm introductions and integrated solutions with Wealth, Home Lending, and Business Banking partners Convert qualified opportunities into closed outcomes Educate customers on self-service and mobile banking options to promote digital adoption Resolve account inquiries and service requests within authorized limits Document actions and set follow-up plans Demonstrate risk excellence through accurate documentation, sound judgment, timely escalation, and adherence to policies and regulations Complete licensing and SAFE requirements to transition from the temporary Relationship Banker LP role to the Relationship Banker (SAFE) role Requirements 2+ years of customer service experience, or equivalent demonstrated through work experience, training, military experience, or education 1+ year of assessing and meeting the needs of customers or helping with issue resolution 1+ year of building and maintaining effective relationships with customers and partners Proven ability to source, acquire, and deepen relationships through proactive outreach and internal partnerships Knowledge of book of business management practices, planning-conversation documentation, and follow-through across deposits, lending, and investments Experience assessing needs and recommending products and services for consumer and business customers Ability to communicate clearly and confidently, listen with empathy, and build credibility and trust FINRA Series 6 and Series 63 examinations or recognized equivalents sufficient for immediate FINRA registration State Insurance license(s), active or completed within a designated timeframe SIE exam required for FINRA qualifications earned after September 30, 2018 FINRA Series 65 or equivalent required within a specified period for certain listed states Required FINRA licenses must be obtained and maintained for continued employment Enhanced financial fitness and criminal background standards SAFE registration required at the time of employment Loan Originators must meet LO/CFPB requirements and Wells Fargo policies Ability to work a schedule that includes most Saturdays This position is not eligible for Visa sponsorship Core Competencies Demonstrates expertise in managing customer relationships and delivering tailored banking solutions, with a strong focus on compliance and risk management.
