Job Description Job Description Tool Crib Attendant Southwest Mobile Storage specializes in modifying storage containers for sale or lease. The position requires basic computer skills, and an organized/meticulous mindset. This is an excellent starting point into our company. With a commitment to safety, innovation, and customer satisfaction, we are expanding our team and seeking skilled Tool Crib Attendant to join us in maintaining our reputation for excellence. Pay $17-20 DOE. Responsibilities: Issue tools, equipment, and materials to shop personnel and maintain accurate records of items issued and returned. Locate lost or misplaced tools and equipment as needed. Maintain and update inventory records, either manually or using computer systems. Receive, unpack, and store incoming tools and equipment, ensuring proper storage. Requisition stock to replenish inventory levels as needed. Track and record daily work tasks and labor hours for shop personnel. Provide tools and consumables to shop personnel from the tool crib. Maintain and update records of company-provided tools issued to shop personnel. Assist in the shipping and receiving process. Ensure the tool crib is organized, clean, and stocked with the necessary tools and materials. Demonstrate a sense of urgency in performing tasks to ensure smooth operations. Follow all safety protocols to maintain a safe and clean work environment. Perform other duties as assigned by leadership. Required Qualifications: Knowledge of tools used in the industry. Basic computer skills, including inventory management software. Ability to perform basic math for inventory control and record-keeping. Previous experience in an industrial or warehouse environment is a plus, but not required. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to work independently and efficiently. Good communication and people skills. Ability to work with a sense of urgency and handle multiple tasks.
