Sr. Buyer

Job Title: Sr. Buyer Location: Eden Prairie, MN Job Type: Full-Time, Exempt Compensation: $75K - $100K Benefits: This position is eligible for medical, dental, vision, 401(k), and PTO. We are partnering with a growing manufacturing organization seeking an experienced Sr. Buyer for our client to support sourcing, procurement, inventory management, and supplier operations across a fast‑paced production environment. This role is ideal for someone with a strong procurement foundation who can operate independently, manage supplier relationships, lead RFQs, and help ensure smooth material flow and inventory performance. What They’re Looking For 5+ years of sourcing/procurement experience within a manufacturing environment Experience managing inventory levels and understanding days in supply (DOS) Proven success leading RFQs and delivering measurable cost savings/results Strong communication, organization, and attention to detail Above‑average Excel skills Ability to mentor others and act as a team resource Nice to Have Global sourcing experience, particularly with Pacific Rim / low‑cost country suppliers Knowledge of replenishment strategies and inventory planning concepts This company values strong communicators, collaborative personalities, and individuals who can balance analytical thinking with relationship management in a production‑driven environment.
