Registered Nurse - Intensive Care Unit (ICU)

Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM

Job Description

The Registered Nurse (RN) will provide comprehensive care to critically ill patients in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU). The role involves closely monitoring patient conditions, administering medications, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to enhance patient outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Provide attentive and compassionate care to patients and their families.
• Monitor and assess patient conditions, including vital signs and overall well-being.
• Administer medications and treatments as per physician orders.
• Perform advanced nursing procedures such as central line insertion, arterial line insertion, and chest tube placement.
• Document all patient care activities and maintain compliance with hospital policies.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Active RN license.
• ACLS and BLS certifications.
• Previous ICU experience is required.
• Advanced skills in procedures performed on the unit.
