Now, we are expanding our global team and looking for talented individuals like you!/ppPosition Purpose: Responsible for installation, troubleshooting, repair, preventive maintenance, and rebuild of all plant electrical equipment and machines. Involved with modifying and improving existing equipment. Train and pass along knowledge to other employees. Assist production with maintaining a high level of equipment up time. Work extended schedules during shutdown periods./ppPrinciple Accountabilities:/pulliActively Participate in the Marysville Plant Safety Program/liliCommunicate shift activities with other maintenance personnel and maintenance supervisors./liliBreak down work orders to determine feasibility and what resources are needed to complete./liliPerform preventive maintenance tasks to ensure equipment performance is at maximum./liliInteract with equipment suppliers./liliDevelop repair procedures and monitor as needed./liliParticipate in brainstorming sessions for equipment improvements./liliActively participate in department meetings./liliOccasionally travel to suppliers and trade shows to communicate our requirements./liliMake some decisions based only on limited amount of information available at a given time./liliPerform shut down activities./liliCommunicate equipment and process changes with Production./liliCommunicate equipment upgrades with Engineering./liliInvestigate problems with equipment, and, or process./li/ulpEssential Skills and Experience:/pulliHigh School Diploma or GED equivalent/liliJourneymans card in Machine Repair, Millwright, Machine Builder or related skilled trade and/or a minimum of five to seven years of relevant work experience in one of the previously referenced trades/liliDemonstrated Proficiency in the following areas:/liulliFabrication, hydraulics and pneumatics as well as operating various machining equipment and various hand tools/liliGeneral Maintenance knowledge/liliMust be able to perform the following:/liulliWeld/liliOperate a mill, lathe, drill press, cut-off saw, read blueprints and layouts/li/ul/ulpAt IPG, you will find more than just a jobyou will find a place where your success is our success.
