Overview

Aerotek is hiring skilled Frame to Finish Carpenters for commercial apartment construction projects throughout the Boston area, including Milton, Medford, and Somerville. These are full-time, long-term positions offering consistent work, competitive pay, and the opportunity to work on large-scale residential construction projects. Candidates must have their own hand tools and PPE and be ready to start as soon as possible.

Responsibilities

• Perform framing, finish carpentry, and general construction tasks on commercial apartment projects

• Measure, cut, and install wood and other building materials according to specifications

• Install trim, doors, windows, cabinetry, and other finish carpentry components

• Read and interpret blueprints, layouts, and construction drawings

• Operate hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently

• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area

• Work closely with other trades and team members to ensure project timelines are met

• Follow all job site safety regulations and PPE requirements

Requirements

• At least 1 year of carpentry or construction experience

• Experience with framing, finish carpentry, or both

• Ability to safely use hand tools and power tools

• Ability to read a tape measure and follow construction plans or instructions

• Must provide your own hand tools and PPE

• Ability to perform physical work, including lifting, carrying, kneeling, climbing, and standing for extended periods

• Strong work ethic and commitment to safety

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Medford, MA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $31.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
