About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse - Labor & Delivery Profession: Registered Nurse (RN) Specialty: Labor & Delivery (L&D) Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Shift Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: - Minimum of 2 years of Labor and Delivery experience required - High-risk experience required - Experience in larger high-volume delivery centers (200-300 deliveries/month) required - Comfortable floating to Post-Partum 1-2 shifts a week License: - Active nursing license required Certifications: - BLS Certification (AHA) required - ACLS Certification (AHA) required - Certification in Fetal Monitoring from AWHONN required - Certification in Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) required Must-Have: - Circulating experience required - High acuity experience required - Work history must include 24 months of current Labor and Delivery experience Description: The Registered Nurse in Labor & Delivery is an integral member of the interdisciplinary team. This role involves contributing professional and clinical knowledge and skills to manage and provide care to patients. The traveler may be required to float within the same discipline across local campuses. Candidates with prior travel contracts are preferred. Experience with EPIC STORK is preferred. Work history or resume must reflect proficiency in Labor and Delivery. Professional references from charge/supervisor/nurse manager/director are preferred.
