Schedule: 3x12 or 4x12 night shifts, 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM; weekdays with every other weekend rotation; float capability required

Highlights:

• Regional tertiary care unit supporting both low-risk and high-risk obstetrics
• 14 L&D beds, 6 triage beds, 2 operating rooms, 2 recovery beds, and 2 high-risk antepartum beds
• Cerner charting system utilized; prior experience required
• Full-time hours (up to 40 hours weekly) available for qualified candidates
• Must be able to float to Mother Baby unit as needed based on unit census
• Collaborative team environment with midwives and physicians focused on optimizing patient outcomes

Requirements:

• Active RN license (West Virginia or Compact state); pending license accepted for submission
• Minimum 2 years of registered nurse experience required
• Current BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications through the American Heart Association
• Proficiency with Cerner electronic medical record system
• Fetal heart monitoring and IV start skills required
• Triage and scrub skills preferred; circulating experience in OR setting a plus
• Flu vaccine required during flu season (October 1 - March 31) unless medical exemption provided
• Must reside at least 100 miles from facility (exceptions may be considered between 75-99 miles)
• Minimum 2 Manager or Charge Nurse references from the past 2 years
