YohHealthcarehas a DIRECT HIRE opportunity for an Occupational Health Registered Nurse in Pittsboro, IN. Key Responsibilities Treatment of on-site injuries and referral to outside medical care as needed Case management for injured workers and facilitate return to work Provide medical surveillance for all employees including but not limited to annualaudiograms,spirometry, vision screening, and lead testing Provide medical surveillance and case management Conduct new hirepre-employment drug and alcohol screening & coordinate medical examinations Participate in ergonomics assessments and job hazard analysis Responsible for training employees in First Aid and CPR/AEDas medicalrespondersto aid in the care of injured workers Responsible for training employees inBloodbornePathogens, Hearing Conservation, Violence in the workplace, Ergonomics and Heat Stress to meet OSHA requirements MaintainHIPPAcompliant documentation Accountable for delivery of agreed to regional health metrics and outcomes Purchase all supplies required for the first aid clinic Develop and meet site budget expectations Drive increased health outcomes including reducing population health risks, managing, and eliminating workplace health risks and supporting improved business outcomes through advancing employee health andwellbeing Willingness to work closely with the Safety Coordinators at the division level torecognizehazards and preventinjury Required Qualifications Active RN license 2 or more years hospital or clinic nursing experience Excellent assessment skills in a clinical setting Phlebotomy Current CPR/AED certification Travel, as needed Preferred 3+ years of experience in occupational nursing or emergency nursing and/or clinic experience 3 + years of experience in a manufacturing, industrial, and/or occupational environment Working knowledge of regulatory areas (ADA, OSHA, FMLA, Workers’ Compensation) CPR/AED Instructor Health coaching/certification Certified Occupational Health Nurse Preferred Qualifications Working knowledge of regulatory areas (ADA, OSHA,FMLA, Workers’ Compensation) CPR/AEDInstructor Health coaching/certification Certified Occupational Health Nurse What’s In It for You?
