Coverage Needed

Start Date: As soon as credentialed
End Date: December 2026
Schedule: Mondays to Fridays, 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM
- One Sunday rotation every 6 weeks - will be for less than 8 hours

Clinical Details

EMR: TechCare
Coverage Type: Inpatient
Coverage of patients in acute mental health units
Support Staff: Nursing, APPs, and psychiatrists
Patient Population: Adults with acute mental health symptoms
Current Incarceration Population: 1,800 patients
Average of 30 patients in the unit - not all patients need to be seen daily; based on acuity of needs
Sunday rounding on acute male & female patients and assessing any critical patients (numbers vary)

Requirements

Board Eligible
BLS Required
ACLS Preferred
Active PA License or IMLC
Minimum Commitment: Full Time
