Registered Nurse (RN) – Cath Lab Chicago, IL (Lakeview Neighborhood) Full time; 4-10 hour shifts Call required; must be able to meet 30 minute arrival time to hospital Where You Will Work The unit has three Cath Labs where physicians perform minimally invasive tests and procedures to diagnose and treat cardiovascular disease. As a nurse in this department you will assist the cardiovascular team throughout the procedure from prep through recovery. We’re Looking For Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing Registered Nurse license issued by the state of Illinois Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association and ACLS Minimum 1 year of nursing experience preferably in Critical Care or Cath Lab Ability to take call and arrive to the hospital within 30 minutes What You’ll Do As a skilled and compassionate RN, you will play a pivotal role in providing and coordinating comprehensive patient care through the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures. Using evidence-based practice, clinical decision making, compassion, and skills communication while leading efforts to create the safest patient environment and the best patient experience across the continuum.
