Commercial Escrow Specialist

Position Overview

A specialist within the Dynamic Solutions Group is responsible for resolving file balances in our escrow trust accounts for direct operations and agency files. File resolution is the core enhanced service provided by this role. The specialist may be called upon to support additional functions, including interpleading funds, submitting unclaimed property, processing post-closing refunds, and categorizing active files.

Duties & Responsibilities

Resolve escrow file balances accurately and efficiently Investigate disputed funds to be submitted to in-house counsel Apply knowledge of unclaimed property regulations and due diligence requirements Prepare amended settlement statements as needed Adhere to departmental policies, procedures and compliance standards Utilize proprietary production systems and document repositories effectively Manage assigned workload independently while meeting timelines and goals

Minimum Requirements

• Complete working knowledge of the escrow process
• Ability to balance escrow files and prepare amended statement
• Proficiency with proprietary production systems and repositories
• Strong decision-making skills aligned with departmental guidelines
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

Preferred Experience

High School diploma or equivalent (some college preferred) Three (3) or more years of commercial title or escrow industry experience Microsoft Word and Excel proficiency (certification preferred)
