Job Description

• Design Customized Treatment Plans: Assess patients' individual requirements and craft tailored therapy strategies to help them achieve their functional aspirations.
• Implement Therapeutic Techniques: Apply researched-based methods to enhance patients' motor abilities, cognitive functioning, and daily activity execution.
• Collaborate with Diverse Teams: Work alongside fellow OTs, PTs, STs, physicians, and nursing staff to provide comprehensive, well-rounded care.
• Educate Patients and Families: Inform patients and their families about therapy methods to encourage continual improvement outside of sessions.
• Track and Document Progress: Monitor clinical outcomes and modify treatment strategies as necessary to ensure patients remain on their path to recovery.

Education

• Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution
• Opportunities for ongoing education and post-graduate certifications provided and encouraged

Certifications

• Active Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) license required
• NBCOT (National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy) certification essential
