Specialist - OSP Analyst I

The Specialist - OSP Analyst I will provide outside plant project support for a geographic area, along with analytical preparation of records, statistics and reports relating to Outside Plant (OSP) functions. This will also include but not be limited to support for Outside Plant Engineering (OSPE) and/or Construction (OSPC) to ensure that outside plant projects are completed on time, in scope and on budget. The Specialist - OSP Analyst I will manage the invoice process including Purchase Orders, tracking work performed, as well as reviewing and processing of invoices from external vendors. This position will work closely with engineering, construction and finance personnel collecting and verifying data required to complete outside plant engineering and construction tasks. This position has the ability to work remotely in any of the 40+ States in which TDS Telecom operates. Responsibilities Analytical preparation of records, statistics and reports regarding outside plant functions. Examine project documentation related to outside plant functions. Ensure data completeness and accuracy. Provides support to engineering and construction personnel by collecting and verifying data required to complete outside plant engineering and construction tasks. Maintain data integrity of certain outside plant related tools. Evaluate and recommend changes in method and procedures in assigned area of responsibility. Provide coaching and mentoring to peers and assist onboarding. Qualifications Required Qualifications Bachelors degree (or higher) -OR- 4+ years professional work experience. 4+ years of utility construction experience -AND/OR- engineering experience 1+ years of analytical experience Other Qualifications Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously Excellent written and oral communications skills Computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite, GIS and the ability to learn new tools as they are deployed. Software knowledge and skills in business and office applications, such as spreadsheets, database applications, word documents, etc. SAP Experience/knowledge Ability to maintain a high degree of confidentiality. Organized, self-motivated, detail orientated, analytical, able to work with minimal supervision.
