Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Behavioral Health Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 07:00-19:00 Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: 1+ years License: Licensure/certification to work as an RN in Tennessee Certifications: BLS, CPI/HWC Must-Have Skills/Experience: Basic RN skills Behavioral Health and Medical/Surgical experience Description: This is a position in the Behavioral Health unit. The facility features a Geriatric Psychiatry unit. It has a total of 12 beds dedicated to geriatric patients. The unit employs team nursing to ensure comprehensive care. The Electronic Health Record system used is Meditech. The patient population primarily consists of geriatric individuals. Common diagnoses include dementia. The ideal candidate should possess professional demeanor and attitude. Previous experience in Behavioral Health is preferred. Casual wear and facility-branded clothing are considered unacceptable attire. The nursing team will be involved in providing high-quality care to patients. Teamwork and collaboration are essential in this role.
