SLP in Fort Leonard Wood, MO

Begin an enriching contract opportunity supporting students as a Speech-Language Pathologist near Fort Leonard Wood, MO. This full-time position is set to start on August 24th and will have you splitting your expertise between an elementary and a middle school, working closely with a diverse caseload of 50 students. Depending on the assignment, daily hours are either 8:00 AM-3:45 PM or 7:00 AM-2:45 PM to suit your scheduling needs.


Desired Experience and Qualifications:

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology
• Valid state SLP license or eligibility
• Previous experience in school-based settings is highly valued
• Comfort with elementary and middle school-aged populations
• Strong collaboration and communication skills
• Ability to adapt therapy sessions for varying student needs

Core Responsibilities:

• Conduct speech, language, and communication screenings and evaluations
• Develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) for a caseload of 50 students
• Work collaboratively with educators, parents, and support staff
• Track student progress and maintain accurate documentation
• Offer consultative support and recommendations to classroom teachers
• Provide direct therapy and intervention to students with a range of speech and language needs
