We are seeking reliable and detail-oriented individuals for a Package Handler / Loader role, supporting the ground operations of a leading Google-based technology company specializing in drone delivery in Christiansburg, VA. This critical role ensures every customer order is processed, packaged, and loaded with speed and precision for air delivery.

• Pay Rate: $19.00 per hour
• Schedule: Full-Time, approximately 32-40 hours per week
• Location: Christiansburg, VA (160 Welcome St. Christiansburg, VA 24073 is the primary work location for this role)

Responsibilities

As a Package Handler / Loader , you will be at the heart of our operations, ensuring every order is handled with speed and precision. Your tasks will include:

• Using multiple applications to receive and process orders.
• Picking items from the shelf and preparing them for delivery.
• Weighing, validating, and securing packages.
• Requesting aircraft for delivery and carrying packages to the drone pickup location.
• Loading packages onto the aircraft and confirming they are secure.
• Maintaining a safe and clean work environment.

The essential functions of this role include:

• working in a smoke free environment
• standing for 8 hours at one time
• working weekends
