You clock in at our Louisville, KY 40223 facility, scan the day’s work orders, and get right to the surface prep that sets every great finish apart—cleaning, sanding, and laying down the right primer. You dial in color and sheen, carefully mixing and matching paints to nail the specified finish. With a steady hand, you switch between spray, brush, and roller techniques, then inspect each part, correcting anything that keeps it from looking and performing its best. Throughout the day, you keep your booth and tools spotless and safe, collaborate with teammates to hit production targets, and perform routine care on sprayers and related gear so everything runs like new.

What you’ll do

• Prepare metal and other substrates by cleaning, sanding, and priming to spec.
• Mix and match paints to achieve precise colors and finishes.
• Apply coatings using spray, brush, and roller methods as required.
• Inspect finished pieces for consistency and quality; make adjustments as needed.
• Maintain a clean, well-organized work area and follow all safety protocols.
• Partner with team members to meet production goals and deadlines.
• Perform routine maintenance on painting equipment and tools.

What you bring

• High school diploma or equivalent; additional training in painting or a related field is a plus.
• Demonstrated experience as an industrial painter or in a closely related role.
• Strong knowledge of coating types, application techniques, and safety standards.
• Ability to work independently and thrive in a team setting.
• Exceptional attention to detail and pride in quality workmanship.
• Physical stamina with the ability to lift heavy materials when needed.
• Clear communication skills and a positive, can-do attitude.
