The HVAC Service Tech plays a crucial role in maintaining and repairing heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems within a small team. This position involves regular travel to multiple sites, focusing primarily on preventive maintenance while addressing a diverse range of service duties. The technician utilizes standard HVAC tools to perform diagnostics, troubleshooting, and equipment testing, ensuring compliance with safety standards and delivering quality customer service.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance on HVAC systems
• Diagnose and repair HVAC equipment issues
• Troubleshoot system malfunctions and implement solutions
• Conduct safety compliance checks on equipment and work sites

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in HVAC service
• EPA Section 608 Certification

Preferred Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Proficiency in HVAC system diagnostics
• Knowledge of electrical systems and refrigeration
• Experience with preventive maintenance procedures
• Strong troubleshooting skills
