Position SummaryWe are seeking a Miter & Prep Operator to join our manufacturing team. This position is responsible for measuring, cutting, and preparing metal materials for fabrication and assembly.
Responsibilities:
- Operate miter saws and other cutting equipment.
- Measure, mark, and cut materials to required specifications.
- Read and interpret basic blueprints and work orders.
- Prepare, deburr, and clean metal parts for welding or assembly.
- Inspect materials for accuracy and quality.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
Qualifications:
- Previous manufacturing or metal fabrication experience preferred.
- Ability to read a tape measure accurately.
- Experience using hand tools and power tools.
- Ability to follow safety procedures and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Must Pass a Measurement Test
Shift: 1st Shift, Monday Thursday, 4:00 AM 2:30 PM (10-hour shifts).
Overtime: Possible on Fridays.
Pay: $17.00/hr.
