Pay Rate: $36.00 - $42.00 Per Hour

We are seeking an experienced Travel CVOR Surgical Technologist for an urgent 13-week contract assignment. The ideal candidate will possess strong cardiovascular surgical experience and demonstrate proficiency supporting complex cardiac procedures in a fast-paced trauma environment.

This role requires extensive experience in Open Heart Surgery, Cardiovascular Operating Room procedures, Trauma, Orthopedic Surgery, and Robotic Surgery . Candidates must be flexible and available for call coverage, including nights, weekends, and holidays.

• Prepare and maintain a sterile field during cardiovascular surgical procedures.
• Assist surgeons during open heart and cardiovascular operations.
• Set up and manage surgical instruments, supplies, and specialty equipment.
• Anticipate surgeon needs during procedures to ensure efficient workflow.
• Maintain strict infection control and sterile processing standards.
• Assist with trauma, orthopedic, and robotic surgical cases as assigned.
• Ensure proper handling and accountability of surgical instruments and supplies.
• Participate in on-call coverage and emergency surgical procedures.
• Collaborate effectively with surgeons, anesthesia staff, nurses, and surgical team members.

• Minimum 2 years of recent CVOR Surgical Technologist experience in a comparable trauma facility.
• Minimum 1 year of travel experience preferred .
• Demonstrated experience in:
  • Open Heart Surgery
  • Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR)
  • Trauma Surgery
  • Orthopedic Surgery
  • Robotic Surgery
• Graduate of an accredited Surgical Technology program.
• Current Surgical Technologist certification preferred.
• Current BLS certification required or preferred per facility requirements.
• Strong knowledge of sterile techniques and surgical instrumentation.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

• Must be willing to participate fully in the call rotation schedule.
