RN - House Supervisor

Registered Nurse (RN) - Night ShiftThis is a 13-week contract position.Night 3x12.0 shifts.The Registered Nurse (RN) maintains the delivery of quality care by ensuring adherence to the nursing care plan. The RN will supervise Licensed Practical Nurses, Certified Nursing Assistants, and orientees while promoting a culture of safety and excellence in patient care.Responsibilities:Conduct nursing assessments on all patients within 8 hours of admission to develop individualized care plans.Identify teaching needs and goals for patients and their families, collaborating with the interdisciplinary team.Provide accurate, timely documentation of all assessments, interventions, and patient responses.Participate in the patient rehabilitation program and manage direct patient care through the nursing process.Initiate discharge planning and patient education from the day of admission.Ensure effective communication regarding patient status changes to maintain continuity of care and safety.Supervise and mentor ancillary nursing personnel, delegating tasks appropriately.Promote personal and environmental safety in accordance with hospital policies.Contribute positively to the unit's functioning and participate in team-building activities.Manage supply and equipment needs in collaboration with nursing leadership.Engage in ongoing professional development through education and training opportunities.Assume charge nurse responsibilities as needed following orientation.Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:BLS Certification required prior to first shift.ACLS Certification required prior to first shift.Minimum of two (2) years of bedside clinical experience.Recent charge nurse experience preferred.Why ARMStaffing?Health Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, and moreOnboarding Made Easy: We handle physicals, titers, and more so you can focus on careClinical Support: In-house clinical team available to assist and advocate401k Retirement Plan: Eligible after waiting period; 4% match with 5% contributionRecruiter Matching: Get paired with a recruiter based on your location and specialtyExtras: Travel reimbursement, housing allowance, meals, referral bonuses, and moreWe're not the only ones who think ARMStaffing should be your first choice.
