Power Distribution Designer

Job Description
Insight Global is looking for a Power Distribution Designer in Greenville, SC. This role starts with working on 1-3 utility design projects at a time, with assignments and priorities provided by a Project Manager. New team members begin with smaller projects, such as single-pole extensions or adding power lines, and gradually take on larger, more complex power distribution designs as they gain experience. You'll work closely with a team of designers in a collaborative office environment where teammates and senior staff are available to answer questions and provide support. The position is primarily office-based, using 2D design tools such as Maximo and BOUD, with very little field work required. As you continue to develop the role, you'll be trusted with increasingly larger projects and greater responsibility.

Skills and Requirements
Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or a related field
1-2 years with electrical design experience (power distribution, power lines, light poles, underground cables, etc...)
Experience with Maximo and BOUD CAD experience (MicroStation, Revit, AutoCAD, etc.)
$25 - $28 per hour
