Guaranteed Hours: 25 hours per week guaranteed

Overview / About the Family:
A family traveling to San Jose for a one-month summer stay is seeking a dependable, proactive, and experienced nanny to provide full weekday childcare support for two children, ages 8 and 4. This role is focused exclusively on childcare and creating a safe, structured, and engaging environment while the family is away from their home base. The ideal candidate is warm, organized, energetic, and comfortable caring for both school-aged and younger children in a travel-based temporary placement.

Responsibilities:

Provide full childcare support for an 8-year-old and 4-year-old
Engage children in age-appropriate activities, outings, and structured play
Support daily routines including meals, snacks, and transitions throughout the day
Plan and facilitate engaging indoor and outdoor activities
Ensure constant safety around the swimming pool and supervise children at all times when outdoors

Requirements:

Strong organizational skills and ability to take initiative
Energetic, flexible, and engaging personality
Experience in travel or temporary placements a plus
3-5 professional references required
Must be able to swim confidently and supervise children in and around a pool
