The Clubhouse Facilities Technician will play a crucial role in maintaining the beautiful Dunes Golf & Beach Club by ensuring that the clubhouse, beach club, and all facilities are in perfect condition. You'll be responsible for performing general maintenance tasks, handling repairs, and ensuring that our clubhouse environment remains clean, safe, and functional for members, guests, and staff alike.

Your attention to detail and expertise will ensure that everything - from lighting and HVAC systems to plumbing and general building upkeep - functions seamlessly, contributing to the premium experience we provide.

Full-time benefits include paid time off (PTO), medical, dental, and life insurance plans after just 90 days of employment.

Profit Sharing and 401k Plan is available to employees who are at least 21 years of age, have a minimum of one year of service, and have worked a minimum of 1,000 hours in a calendar year. The Club matches a portion of employee contributions.

YOUR ROLE: CLUBHOUSE FACILITIES TECHNICIAN

As a Clubhouse Facilities Technician, you will be responsible for keeping the clubhouse and its surroundings in excellent working order. Your role will include a wide range of general maintenance tasks, including:

• General Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance on HVAC systems, plumbing, electrical, and lighting systems throughout the clubhouse and other facilities.

• Repairs & Troubleshooting: Quickly identify and repair issues with machinery, furniture, or equipment. Handle both minor and major repairs as needed.

• Facility Inspections: Regularly inspect the clubhouse and its facilities, identifying potential maintenance issues before they arise.

• Cleanliness & Safety: Maintain the cleanliness and safety of all public areas, ensuring that all spaces are welcoming and in top condition for guests and staff.

• Groundskeeping Support: Assist with maintaining exterior areas, including the golf course, landscaping, and outdoor common areas, ensuring they meet the club's high standards.

• Laundry: Assist in our laundry facility as needed to sort, wash, dry, fold, and distribute linens.

• Set-Up & Breakdowns: Assist with event setups, including arranging furniture, adjusting lighting, and handling various setups for banquets, meetings, and special events.

• Team Collaboration: Work closely with other maintenance staff, housekeeping, and management to ensure seamless operations and address any facility-related issues promptly.

What We're Looking For:

• Experience in Facility Maintenance: Previous experience in maintenance, repairs, or building management is highly preferred.

• Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to troubleshoot, diagnose issues, and resolve maintenance problems efficiently.

• Attention to Detail: A keen eye for detail and a proactive approach to preventing maintenance issues.

• Physical Stamina: Ability to work outdoors and lift/move equipment as necessary, with a focus on safety at all times.

• Customer Service Mindset: Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to interact with staff and members professionally and courteously.

• Reliability: A strong work ethic with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Flexible Schedule: Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed to maintain clubhouse operations.
