Located in Port Jefferson, the St. Charles Campus of Good Samaritan University Hospital combines advanced clinical expertise with a longstanding commitment to compassionate care. A leader in acute inpatient rehabilitation on Long Island, St. Charles Campus provides specialized care for patients recovering from conditions such as stroke, traumatic brain injury, spinal cord injury, and orthopedic injuries. Advanced Practice Provider Critical Care
Summary:
- Assist collaborating physicians in providing assessments, diagnosis, care and treatment of patients in an acute care setting.
Responsibilities:
- Appropriate ordering of tests and medications
- Coordinating admissions and/or transfers to other facilities
- Consult with multidisciplinary team in patient coordination of care and discharge planning
Requirements:
- Critical Care experience required
- Must be able to work a varied schedule including weekend rotations and nights. 7A-7P/7P-7A
- Bachelor of Science, Masters preferred in an AMA approved PA or NP program
- NYS Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner License or Limited Permit
- PA or NP Board Certification
- BLS and ACLS certification
- *Position requires to work a minimum of 2 shifts per month*
Posted Salary Range
Starting from USD $69.54/Hr.
This range serves as a good faith estimate and actual pay will encompass a number of factors, including a candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies and experience. The salary range or rate listed does not include any bonuses/incentive, differential pay or other forms of compensation that may be applicable to this job and it does not include the value of benefits.
