Strategic Staffing Solutions is seeking a Provider Disputes Support Specialist for a 6-month contract opportunity in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. This is a fully onsite position supporting a fast-paced healthcare operations team. Position Summary

\n

The Provider Disputes Support Specialist coordinates the intake, review, assignment, and tracking of provider dispute cases. This role is responsible for organizing incoming case materials, maintaining records, supporting appeals processes, and providing administrative assistance to the Provider Disputes and Resolution team.

\n

Key Responsibilities

\n

\n
• Coordinate and manage intake of provider dispute cases and related documentation
\n
• Prioritize, organize, distribute, and track incoming mail, correspondence, and case materials
\n
• Record and assign provider disputes to the appropriate specialists and work queues
\n
• Assist management with clerical and administrative support activities
\n
• Monitor case progress and follow up with internal departments to ensure timely resolution
\n
• Forward medical appeals, FEP appeals, and correspondence to the appropriate teams
\n
• Prepare appeal review materials, including case binders, copies, mailings, and electronic communications
\n
• Maintain electronic and paper case files while ensuring compliance with privacy regulations and company policies
\n
• Generate reports for internal meetings and maintain dispute-tracking databases
\n
• Assist with office supply inventory management and departmental recordkeeping
\n
• Navigate Facets and Jiva systems to research claims, authorizations, provider disputes, and appeals
\n
• Perform additional duties as assigned
\n

Qualifications

\n

Required

\n

✅ High School Diploma or equivalent

\n

✅ Minimum 2 years of experience in:

\n

\n
• Medical office operations
\n
• Health insurance administration
\n
• Claims processing
\n
• Provider services
\n
• Member services
\n

\n

✅ Proficiency with:

\n

\n
• Microsoft Word
\n
• Microsoft Excel
\n
• Microsoft PowerPoint
\n

\n

✅ Strong organizational, communication, and administrative skills

\n

✅ Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy and confidentiality

\n

Preferred

\n

\n

⭐ Healthcare claims, appeals, or provider dispute resolution experience
