Forklift Operator

ForkliftThe Forklift driver operates production equipment, performs a variety of manufacturing and general labor tasks, and supports multiple departments to keep the production line running smoothly. This role focuses on following established processes, maintaining high quality standards through regular inspections, and contributing to a safe and efficient manufacturing environment by learning and executing a range of duties across the facility.ResponsibilitiesOperate production equipment and machinery safely and efficiently according to established procedures.Perform general manufacturing and production line duties, including assembly, packaging, packing, and labeling of products.Conduct routine quality inspections to ensure products meet company standards and specifications.Learn and adhere to all production processes, procedures, and safety requirements.Cross-train in multiple roles and departments to support operational needs and increase overall team productivity.Handle materials throughout the facility, including loading, unloading, picking, and moving items as needed.Use hand tools, power tools, and basic measuring tools such as tape measures to complete assigned tasks accurately.Assist with machine operation and basic troubleshooting to maintain continuous production flow.Support inventory-related activities by helping track, move, and organize materials and finished goods.Maintain a clean and orderly work area by performing general cleaning tasks in and around the production line.Follow mechanical and assembly instructions, including simple blueprints or diagrams when required.Work as a general production operator, floating to different areas and learning multiple jobs and duties as needed.Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Lebanon, TN.Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $18.00/hr.Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
