We are seeking a highly motivated individual for the position of Corporate Senior Tax Accountant reporting to Corporate Senior Tax Manager based in our Tampa, Florida office. The Opportunity: We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented professional to assist with the preparation of the U.S. annual consolidated tax provision and corporate income tax returns, covering approximately 30 states, and to support various international tax filings. The role includes assisting with preparing quarterly estimated tax payments and coordinating payment requests. A solid understanding of accounting principles is strongly preferred. The ideal candidate is organized, eager to learn, and able to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Apply knowledge of U.S. GAAP, statutory accounting, and corporate income tax principles to support accurate reporting and compliance.
• Communicate effectively with internal accounting teams and external consultants or tax advisors.
• Maintain strong organizational skills and consistently meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Assist with the timely filing of corporate income tax returns and quarterly estimated tax payments for all domestic jurisdictions.
• Prepare annual tangible property, franchise, and gross receipts tax filings.
• Assist international tax filings and reporting in coordination with global teams and external advisors.
• Assist with the preparation of tax accruals, journal entries, and account reconciliations.
• Support the calculation and review of the Company's tax provision, including: Book/tax differences (Schedule M-1/M-3), State modifications, Tracking of tax attributes, State apportionment analysis.
• Conduct research and provide analytical support for special tax projects.
• Support the implementation of new tax policies, strategies, and procedures, and contribute to cross-functional initiatives as appropriate.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (intermediate level or higher)
• Required four-year degree in accounting or finance
• Masters in Accounting or Taxation preferred
• Corporate tax provision and corporate tax compliance experience
• At least three years of relevant corporate tax experience
• High attention to detail and excellent organizational skills
• Strong critical thinking and analytical abilities
• Willing and able to work independently with minimal supervision
• Solid understanding of accounting principles and financial concepts
