Community Description:

The city of Alexandria lies in Central Louisiana and boasts many fulfilling and exciting things to do during the day and at night. Alexandria has much in stock for people of all ages, with over 30 playgrounds and outdoor parks. There are also several arcade rooms for gamers, amusement areas, and beautiful restaurants to purchase mouth-watering dishes. Things to do include: Alexandria Zoological Park, Louisiana History Museum, Wayback’s Arcade, Lake Buhlow, Swamp Daddy’s Restaurant, Alexandria Museum of Art, Frosty Factory, and more! About 3 hours NW of New Orleans, about 2 hours NW of Baton Rouge (home to the LSU Tigers), and only 4 hours SE of Dallas, TX
