Job Description:

The Registered Nurse (RN) will work in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU), responsible for comprehensive care of patients across various acuities. The RN will manage care through monitoring, intervention, and maintain accurate patient records. Coordination with the care team to provide optimal patient outcomes is essential.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct dysrhythmia examinations and maintain required competencies.
• Provide primary care in ICU/PCU/MST settings with variable nurse-aid availability.
• Titrate drips including sedation, vasopressors, and insulin as necessary.
• Monitor patients using bedside cardiac monitors and Remote Monitor Techs for PCU & MST.
• Float between units as needed to support patient care requirements.

Requirements:

• Current ACLS and BLS certifications.
• Minimum of 2 years ICU experience required; alternative experience may be considered.
• Ability to read and interpret EKGs; ICU patients managed via bedside cardiac monitors.
• License submission is required.
