Location: Langdon Place of Dover
Schedule: Desired Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM; however, we offer flexibility and are happy to discuss a schedule that works well for the right candidate.

As an Activities Assistant, you will support the planning and delivery of engaging recreational, social, and wellness programs designed to enhance residents' quality of life. Working closely with the Activities Director, you will help create meaningful experiences that promote resident engagement, independence, and overall well-being.

This role is ideal for someone who is energetic, creative, organized, and enjoys building relationships with older adults.

• Assist with planning, organizing, and conducting recreational and social activities

• Help create and post monthly activity calendars

• Encourage resident participation through individual visits and group programming

• Escort residents to and from activities and events

• Assist with community outings and transportation coordination, including driving residents

• Document resident participation and progress accurately

• Observe and report changes in resident behavior, mood, or engagement

• Maintain activity supplies and program materials

• Support Resident and Family Council meetings as assigned

• Collaborate with nursing and other departments to meet resident needs

• Transport residents using facility vehicles for outings, appointments, and community events

• Follow all facility policies, safety procedures, and infection control standards

• Perform other duties as assigned

• High School Diploma or equivalent required

• CPR certification, or ability to obtain

• Basic computer skills

• Valid driver's license with the ability to transport residents

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Positive attitude, patience, creativity, and professionalism

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
