Freight Forwarder Operator

- Graduate from accredited local universities in Mexico; hold a TSU (Técnico Superior Universitario) or Licenciatura (Bachelor’s degree) or above.
- Majors in Logistics Management, International Trade, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Spanish or related fields are preferred. Fresh graduates shall provide graduation certificates or school‑issued student status certificates. Major requirements may be relaxed for candidates with relevant working experience. 1. Booking & Transportation Coordination: Arrange transportation for import and export goods by sea and air.
- Document Management: Prepare, review and organize full‑set import and export documents including but not limited to Bill of Lading (B/L), packing lists, commercial invoices, etc. Ensure documents are accurate and comply with customs regulations and trade terms.
- Customs Clearance Coordination: Follow up on import customs clearance procedures, handle exceptions such as customs inspections to achieve compliant and efficient customs release.
- Logistics Tracking & Exception Handling: Monitor shipment status throughout transit, update system information timely, resolve various transportation exceptions (e.g. delay, damage, loss), and maintain effective communication with clients, suppliers and relevant teams.
- Vendor Coordination: Liaise with local Mexican service providers including trucking companies, warehouses and consolidated handling firms to guarantee smooth last‑mile delivery from port to warehouse or customer premises.
- Mexico Overseas Warehouse Support: Maintain daily communication with the Mexico overseas warehouse team. Coordinate goods receiving appointments, shelving, inventory counting and outbound arrangements. Ensure seamless connection between logistics operations and warehousing processes, and timely report inventory and operational anomalies.
- Cost & Data Management: Accurately input data into internal systems, verify costs and expenses, assist in optimizing operational workflows to lower logistics costs.
- Client Communication: Timely update clients on shipment status, respond to logistics‑related inquiries to improve customer satisfaction.
- Perform other logistics‑related support tasks assigned by supervisors.
