Registered Nurse
Registered Nurse in the Emergency Department providing comprehensive care to patients of all ages, prioritizing acuity and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams in a fast-paced hospital setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive emergency nursing care to patients of all ages arriving at the Emergency Department.
- Assess patient conditions upon arrival and prioritize care based on severity and acuity.
- Collaborate with physicians, physician assistants, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement effective treatment plans.
- Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes.
- Execute emergency protocols and assist in critical procedures to ensure patient safety and optimal outcomes.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing or related field.
- ACLS (AHA), PALS (AHA), TNCC (Emergency Nursing Certification), BLS (AHA) certifications.
- Minimum 2 years of current Emergency Department experience in a hospital setting.
- Valid Vermont nursing license.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
