Must-Have:
- Experience managing continuous IV medications including Amiodarone, Cardizem, Dobutamine, Dopamine, Milrinone, Nitroglycerin, Bumex, Lasix, Aggrastat, Argatroban, Heparin, and Insulin drips.
- Basic arrhythmia knowledge and hemodynamic monitoring experience.


Description:
Candidates must have experience in managing cardiac drips and IV medications.
This position involves caring for adult and geriatric patients.
Responsibilities include arrhythmia management, cardioversion, and care of patients with cardiac CHF and chest pain.
Nursing care for renal and pulmonary patients, including those with COPD and pulmonary edema, is required.
The nurse will care for patients with DVT and cardiac arrhythmias, such as stable A-Fib and SVT.
Surgical patient care, including cholecystectomy, appendectomy, and post-cardiac catheterization, is also part of the role.
Occasional care for orthopedic or CVA patients may be needed.
Patient-to-nurse ratio is approximately 1:5-6 on the unit.
The nurse must possess charting experience and familiarity with electronic health record systems.
Candidates should expect to work weekends and holidays, as a part of a regular schedule.
Floating to similar units may be required as needed.
Compliance with all requirements is necessary to ensure a smooth onboarding process.
