Location: Charleston, WV Area (Not Remote)
Employment Type: Short-Term Contact (Summer 2026)
Pay Range: Up to $18/hour (Weekly Pay)
Schedule: Monday-Friday | Traditional Business Hours

2. Key Responsibilities / What You'll Do

• Accurately type and enter data from handwritten documents into digital systems
• Proofread completed entries to ensure zero errors and high-quality output
• Maintain consistency and formatting across all typed documents
• Meet production and speed expectations without sacrificing accuracy
• Sit and work at a computer for extended periods while maintaining focus
• Identify and correct discrepancies in source materials or typed content
• Support team goals by maintaining productivity and quality standards

3. Required Skills & Qualifications

Must-Have

• Strong typing skills with a focus on accuracy (speed matters, but precision is critical)
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to spot errors quickly
• Proven proofreading or editing ability
• Experience working with handwritten documents or transcription-style tasks
• Ability to sit for long periods and maintain productivity
• Strong concentration and focus in a repetitive task environment

Nice-to-Have

• Previous data entry or clerical experience
• Familiarity with document management or data systems
• Experience in high-volume, deadline-driven work environments
