Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Senior QNX Android Developer with strong expertise in Embedded C++, QNX/Linux platform development, Android Automotive, and Qualcomm Snapdragon-based systems. The candidate will develop, integrate, and maintain platform software, middleware, device drivers, and embedded applications.
Job Title: Senior QNX Android Developer
Location: Hillsboro, OR
Key Skills & Requirements
- Strong experience in C++ and Embedded Software Development.
- Hands-on experience with QNX Platform Development and QNX Hypervisor.
- Strong knowledge of Android Platform Development and Android Automotive.
- Experience with Qualcomm Snapdragon platforms (Snapdragon 8295 preferred).
- Strong experience in Embedded Linux and Linux Platform Development.
- Experience with Linux Device Driver Development and hardware interfaces including SPI, I2C, UART, and GPIO.
- Knowledge of Docker, Git/GitLab, and CI/CD integration.
- Experience with debugging tools such as GDB, QNX Momentics, ADB, and Logcat.
- Knowledge of virtualization, bootloaders, secure boot, and power management.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Electronics, Embedded Systems, or a related discipline.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain embedded software for QNX, Linux, and Android platforms.
- Design and implement platform services, middleware, and embedded applications using C/C++.
- Develop and integrate Linux device drivers and hardware interfaces.
- Support platform bring-up and integration on Qualcomm Snapdragon-based systems.
- Develop Android native and framework-level components.
- Perform debugging, performance optimization, and issue resolution across software and hardware layers.
- Collaborate with automation and validation teams to support CI/CD integration.
- Utilize Docker and virtualized environments for development and testing.
- Participate in design reviews, code reviews, and release activities.
- Support multimedia and embedded platform development.
