Job Description
Datapoint Surveying and Mapping is seeking an experienced Survey Party Chief for projects throughout Ohio and surrounding areas. This is a full-time position that will include benefits, including per diem, and will require ability to travel up to 50% of the time.
Required Qualifications
- Valid DL with clean driving history
- 2+ years of responsible charge in route/ pipeline surveying, construction staking, and site layout
- Highly proficient use of basic & common survey instrumentation such as GNSS, conventional total stations, and levels
- Working knowledge of robotic total stations and LIDAR scanning instrumentation
- Flexible schedule to handle heavy workloads as needed with travel up to 50% of the time throughout Ohio and surrounding areas
- Highly organized
Desirable Qualifications
- 3+ years of Trimble Access use
- Familiarity with Trimble Pipelines module
- Experience in a variety of Autodesk products including Revit, Navisworks, and Inventor
- Flexible schedule to handle heavy workloads as needed
