Infinity Mental Health is looking for a passionate and dedicated Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner to join our growing team in Upper Marlboro, MD. - Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and mental health assessments for new and existing patients
- Diagnose and treat a range of mental health conditions including depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, and ADHD
- Prescribe and manage psychotropic medications in accordance with evidence-based practices
- Develop and monitor individualized treatment plans in collaboration with the care team
- Provide medication management follow-up appointments and adjust treatment as needed
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in the electronic health record (EHR) system
- Coordinate care with therapists, primary care providers, and other specialists as appropriate
- Active Nurse Practitioner license in the state of Maryland (PMHNP required)
- Master's or Doctoral degree in Nursing with a Psychiatric Mental Health specialization
- Active DEA license and prescriptive authority in Maryland
- Experience in psychiatric or mental health care settings
- Proficiency with electronic health record (EHR) systems
- Strong interpersonal skills with a patient-centered, empathetic approach to care
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
