Part-Time Dog Walker & Pet Sitter - Flexible Hours + Tips (Buckhead)

$11 - $30 per hour

Temporary

Buckhead Pet Pals

Earn $11 per 30-minute walk, plus tips. You choose your availability.

Buckhead Pet Pals has been caring for Atlanta's pets since 1998. We're looking for reliable people who love dogs and cats, live in or near Buckhead, and want to join our team of sitters. This is a great fit for retirees, students, parents with school-day hours, and anyone who would rather spend the day outside with dogs than at a desk.

What you'll earn

$8 per 20-minute visit
$11 per 30-minute visit (our most popular)
$16 per 45-minute visit
$22 per 60-minute visit
$55 per overnight stay in a client's home
Plus tips (you keep 100%) and time-and-a-half on major holidays!

Example: Once your schedule builds, 6 midday walks a day, Monday–Friday, is about $330 a week before tips .

What the job looks like

Visit clients' homes to walk, feed, play with, and care for their dogs and cats
Follow each client's care notes. Some pets need medication, litter scooping for cats, or extra attention.
Send a quick/fun update and photo/video through our app after every visit
Walk in all kinds of weather. On extreme-heat days we shorten walks and spend the extra time indoors with the pets.

Why our sitters stay

You set your availability. Our office handles scheduling, billing, and client questions, so you can focus on the pets.
Visits stay close to home. We match you with clients near where you live.
Steady work from a trusted local company with 28 years in Atlanta
Get paid to stay active. You won't need a gym membership.

What you'll need

A reliable car and a valid driver's license
A smartphone with a data plan
Comfort handling dogs of all sizes, cats, or both
Willingness to complete a background check
Pet experience is a plus. Professional pet-care experience is not required.

Applying takes about 3 minutes, and no resume is needed.

This is an independent contractor position.
