Senior Finance Manager

Senior Finance Manager or Finance Director Our client is seeking an experienced Senior Finance Manager to provide strategic financial leadership for a growing business. This position serves as a key business partner to executive leadership, operations, and sales, helping drive business performance through financial planning, analysis, forecasting, capital investment planning, and operational decision support. Primary Responsibilities The Senior Finance Manager will lead the organization's financial planning and analysis activities, including budgeting, forecasting, financial modeling, and long-range planning. This individual will provide meaningful financial insights that support executive decision-making while ensuring accurate reporting and financial discipline across the business. Additional responsibilities include: Lead annual budgeting and monthly forecasting processes. Develop financial models, scenario analyses, and business cases to support strategic initiatives. Partner with Operations and Sales to evaluate revenue performance, profitability, and growth opportunities. Lead capital planning, investment analysis, and ROI evaluations. Prepare and present financial performance reviews, KPIs, and executive reporting. Drive continuous improvement of financial processes, reporting, and internal controls. Identify financial risks and recommend actions to improve business performance. Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing finance team. Partner cross-functionally to improve operational and financial decision-making. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics, or a related field. 8+ years of progressive finance experience in FP&A, corporate finance, business finance, or related disciplines. Demonstrated success in leading budgeting, forecasting, financial modeling, and financial reporting. Experience partnering with executive leadership, operations, and commercial teams. Strong business acumen with the ability to translate financial data into actionable business recommendations. Previous people leadership experience with responsibility for coaching and developing finance professionals. Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and experience working with ERP and business intelligence systems. Preferred Experience Experience within manufacturing, distribution, consumer products, food distribution, logistics, supply chain, wholesale distribution, or other operationally intensive businesses is highly desirable. Candidates with experience supporting capital investment decisions, revenue analysis, pricing strategy, or business transformation initiatives will be particularly attractive.
