Relief Driver

Agape Driver PositionAbout Agape: We provide direct care support to residents with differing abilities. Our mission is to continually enrich the daily lives of our residents by assisting them with their day to day tasks. From caregiving assistance, shopping, cooking, and working on fun projects - we practice compassion, integrity, teamwork, and excellence in everything we do! We are currently hiring for our CBRF (Community Based Residential Facility) group homes and our SAPs (Supported Apartment Program). As a Driver at Agape: You will assist our residents with their day to day travel needs such as but not limited to appointments, outings, and work. Schedules are flexible and can be discussed. (While performing the duties of this job, the employee regularly works in our participant's home or in an office environment with air conditioning/heat.)Responsibilities:Drivers are responsible for providing door to door service for our clientsAssisting caregiver with transfer of clients in and out of wheelchair using required safety devicesRequired to inspect bus weeklyAdditional duties may be assignedQualifications:Must be at least 18 years of ageMaintain a valid drivers license with excellent driving recordBe mentally & physically capable to assist participants based on their needs in and out of the busA strong passion for helping others with mental & physical disabilitiesWe Pride Ourselves On:Competitive SalariesFlexible SchedulesPaid Training/Continuing EducationEmployee Referral BonusesRoom for Advancement
