Customer Service Representative

Job Description

Supports patients in accessing specialty medications by conducting benefit investigations, verifying insurance coverage, handling inbound and outbound calls, documenting case updates, and assisting with prior authorizations and financial assistance programs. Ensures accurate record management while delivering excellent customer service in a fast-paced healthcare environment.

Qualifications:

• 1+ year of patient services or call center experience in healthcare

• Experience with HUB/Patient Services and pharmaceutical or medical benefits

• Comfortable handling patient, specialty pharmacy, and insurance plan communications

• Strong documentation, multitasking, and adaptability skills

• Experience with QA-reviewed calls and learning new systems quickly

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Morrisville, NC.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $19.85/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
