NOW HIRING: Direct Care Staff – STRTP – $20/Hour – CPI Required Location: Perris, CA (Riverside County) Company: OTH Pay: $20.00 per hour Employment Type: Full-Time & Part-Time Position: Direct Care Staff Job Description OTH is a licensed Short-Term Residential Therapeutic Program (STRTP) located in Nuevo, California. We are seeking dependable, professional, and motivated Direct Care Staff to work with youth in a structured residential treatment environment. Current Crisis Prevention Institute (CPI) training/certification is required. We are looking for individuals who can maintain a safe, structured, and therapeutic environment while providing supervision, guidance, and support to youth with behavioral and emotional challenges. Available Shifts Swing Shift: 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM Overnight Shift: 11:00 PM – 7:00 AM Weekends: 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM/3:00 PM - 11:00 PM/11:00 PM - 7:00 AM Full-time and part-time positions available. Weekday and weekend availability needed. Job Responsibilities Provide direct supervision and care to youth in a residential treatment setting. Maintain a safe, structured, and supportive environment. Implement behavioral interventions and de-escalation techniques consistent with CPI training. Assist youth with daily routines, activities, and independent living skills. Monitor and document youth behaviors, incidents, and daily activities. Enforce facility rules, policies, and expectations. Respond professionally to behavioral crises and emergencies. Communicate effectively with supervisors, clinical staff, and team members. Complete required documentation and assigned shift responsibilities. Qualifications Current CPI training/certification required. Experience working with at-risk youth, foster youth, or individuals with behavioral challenges preferred. Previous STRTP, group home, or residential treatment experience preferred. Ability to remain calm and professional during challenging situations. Strong communication, documentation, and conflict-resolution skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Must meet applicable California STRTP employment, background clearance, and training requirements.
