CNC Operator

EJ has an immediate opening for a CNC Operator at our Water Products facility on 2nd shift, $23.00 - $28.35 per hour depending on experience; with an additional $1.50 shift premium. SUMMARY

Responsible for running Doosan Vertical Lathes and Bullard Vertical Lathes. Will run various CNC controlled machining centers. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Promotes the culture, the mission and vision, and the core values of the company. Works in manner which demonstrates commitment to personal safety and that of others within the organization. Setup machining tool and proof of 1st piece. Reads product print and follows BOM and routes information on production orders. Performs quality checks using micrometers, calipers, and gages. Runs production parts at or above standard rates. Problem solves issues with the machine setup, part issues or the CNC program. Promotes safety awareness, accident prevention, and employee involvement with regard to a safe work environment. Ensures employees understand the safety expectations of the organization. Promotes the company culture, the mission and vision, and the core values of the company.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE High school diploma or GED required, Associate degree (A.A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school preferred; and six months to one-year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
