Description:
Join a Zone 3 MS/Tele float pool covering four Denver-area hospitals. Care for adult and geriatric patients across a variety of specialties including cardiac, neuro, oncology, ortho, renal, trauma, rehab, bariatrics, and ED observation. Patient ratios are typically 1:5-6 , using Epic charting. Nurses should be comfortable floating between MS/Tele, PCU/Stepdown, and low-acuity ICU holds as needed. Heparin drips are required.

Requirements

• 2+ years recent MS/Tele experience
• Neuro experience preferred
• BLS, ACLS & NIHSS (AHA)
• Epic experience

Travelers float throughout Zone 3, which includes:Schedules released 4-6 weeks in advanceMay receive either:A weekly assignment at one facility, orA Just-In-Time (JIT) assignment 1-2 hours before shift startNight shifts (7p-7a)6-9 weekend shifts every 6 weeksAny scrub color allowed1-2 days of unit orientation with a preceptorHospital may cancel up to 4 shifts during a 13-week assignment
