Position Title: Bus Driver
FLSA: Non-Exempt
Qualifications:
- Must have a valid Virginia drivers license.
- Must have or be willing to be trained for Commercial Drivers License (CDL).
- Ability to read and communicate in English.
- Ability to follow instructions and take initiative in performance of assigned tasks.
Reports To: Transportation Supervisor
Terms of Employment: 182 day contract
Essential Job Functions:
- Interact with parents, students, faculty, and co-workers in a pleasant and professional manner.
- Pick up and transport students daily to and from school.
- Perform all tasks in accordance with division guidelines.
Other Job Functions:
- Report all needed bus maintenance and repair needs. Maintain clean bus both inside and out.
- Report to work at scheduled time with proper attire and appropriately groomed.
- Adhere to all school division and transportation rules and regulations.
- Participate in meetings and training sessions as scheduled.
- Complete other tasks as assigned.
